News: Commercial Use Plastic Bags to Be Further Limited in Taiwan

The Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) has announced that seven more types of commercial establishments, including drugstores, tea shops and bakeries, will be regulated not to offer free plastic bags to customers, according a news report by the Public Television.

In 2002, the EPA implemented regulations that limit the use of plastic bags in places such as convenience stores, department stores, and hypermarkets.
